Leher was featured in Femina Magazine, being called “An Inspiration”. As a social activist, she is associated with various NGOs and is a secretary to the ICHR (Indian Council for Human Relations) and ICUNR (Indian Council for UN Relations). She was identified as one of the 20 women as a ‘Leader of Tomorrow’ by the New York Times as it brought the Women in the World Summit to India for the first time in 2015. She was appointed the Director of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY) for the Villages Budhan Pur Majra & Salah Pur Majra, collectively known as Majra Dabbas in Bawana Vidhan Sabha under the Member of Parliament – North West Delhi (Dr. Udit Raj) and worked on developing the village infrastructure and culture, while co-ordinating with the various government agencies. She has served as a member of the Women’s Committee of Delhi Management Association (DMA), AIMA and the Women Entrepreneurship Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
